Gotta give props to DJ Deekline on an awesome video for his new single with MC Shystie. Check this out! Good style and we feel like we are almost watching a little flick from Guy Ritchie! Well… sort of, it’s definitely cool!

Not sure if we told you this but Noise Porn has recently started guest-posting for The Fat! Club (you can read our first post here) and in return they’ve now sent over a juicy mix from Reso. Typically witty, it’s accompanied by this piece which details quite how dubstep intends to take over the world…
“Dubstep is undoubtedly the flavour du jour. Once the sound of Britain’s urban underground, it’s become the remix of choice to lend credibility to the latest fashion-friendly pop star. Woke up one morning to find yourself a washed-up, irrelevant electro house DJ? No problem, throw a few Rusko tracks in at the end of your set and you’ll soon have your cool back. Fortunately Reso doesn’t make tracks with any of this in mind. Instead he makes grinding industrial tech-step, shot through with moments of rare musical beauty and texture, that sound like the soundtrack to some kind of alternate world where machines rule and have begun to develop emotions in their circuitry. This live mix from the Fuzz Club in the States showcases his productions and tight mixing, venturing from dubstep to tearing drum and bass, before finishing with the soothing glitch-hop of Flying Lotus. If you can’t beat ‘em…”
Also, if you fancy getting involved with a remix competition, where the winner gets his track released on Lee Mortimer’s Wearehouse label, then head on over here.

For those of you that don’t know, N.A.S.A. stands for North America South America and is basically a collaboration between two friends and music lovers, Squeak E. Clean and DJ Zegon. These guys have reached out to some massive names to help them with their projects, including Lykke Li, M.I.A., Santogold, Spankrock, Lovefoxxx and more.
This baile stuff is getting really infectious now, although it doesn’t seem right listening to it in Edinburgh. Might jump on a plane and head east, or south. Somewhere warmer where people dance in the street to remixes like this!
