Trouble Vision return to Corsica Studios this Friday for a dollop of rather good rave following their ramajama 1st birthday which took place back in October. Back with a bang, they bring king of crack DJ Zinc to headline Room 1 alongside Dirtybird’s Solo who brings a splash of carnival house to the proceedings followed by a debut live performance from Bass Clef & The Magic Drum Orchestra whilst Greenmoney brings up the rear.
Room 2 takes on a garage, dub and UK funky flava with Rise FM and FWD dude Geenus alongside Mumdance, Reecha, El B b2b Photomachine and Joy Orbison taking on SBKRKT (not sure if we’re talking b2b vibes there…) As if that wasn’t enough Room 3 plays host to the Silent Disco featuring the Superfilthy Oli DAB &Robin alongside The Wolf and Co. So pleny going on for the very small cost of £8 (in advance)
Trouble Vision,
Corsica Studios
Friday 27th November

PS congrats to Corsica for winning Best Small Club at DJ Mag Best Of British Awards!

I rocked up at this summers BLOC Weekender on the Sunday following a rather late night out in Plymouth the night before. As far as missions go, it was pretty random. Next to no sleep, work on the train line meant there was a replacement bus and things did not look great but at least the sun was shining.
Anyroads.. trundling up the motorway passed Exeter I had a stroke of genius ‘…Bloc Weekender is on…? I’m driving pretty much right past it… stop the bus Mr Bus Driver’ 1 hour later I was at the gates of Butlins in Minehead. Not bad going I thought and the detour had only cost me £1.35.
Ticketless and haggered, the kind promoter kindly took pity on me* and offered me shelter for the last day of what was blatantly one of the phattest parties of this year. Skream b2b Benga dropping La Roux Remix (well before it got, well y’know) was well one of my ‘moments’ of 2009.
Anyway, to cut along story short BLOC have just made their first line up announcement and raising the bar they lead with Salt N Pepa LIVE. Inspired. Full details:

*Noiseporn do not recommend turning up haggered and blagging entry to this rave. The promoter WILL say no.
