You may remember me banging on about Zeds Dead last month and how they are the best thing since sliced bread (its true i tell you). This time they are back with two stonking remixes that will blow ya headtop!
First off is a remix of the Foo Fighters ‘Prentender’ which took me by surprise to say the least! The tune builds slowly with some nice arpeggiated guitar chords and then launches into a full on tirade of haunting electro basslines. As always the production is flawless and no doubt this will destroy the club soundsystems!
The next track is a remix they did for the Noob and Brodinski Peanuts Club remix competition. This is definitely up there with my favourite remixes and is a fantastic tune for those dj’s wanting to cater to both electro heads and dubstep fans. The bassline is a savage little number which flutters and winds its way through the track. The song breaks midway into an offbeat dubstep number, that wall of sound distortion reminiscent of Nero’s ‘Im not your toy’ remix. This is definately one of their biggest sounding productions to date.
