“Sorry, I thought you said….” As tongue-in-cheek as his DJ name, Weakhunt’s new promo mix is one of the best put together collections of new house and electro I’ve heard in yonks. Certainly, the opening two tracks may have prompted me to raise an eyebrow or two, but I’ve already gathered that this DJ doesn’t take himself too seriously, and as these give way to jumpin’ bassline-house and chirpy electro, with the odd meander into dubstep or disco, my speakers and I are more than satisfied.
