So still trying to find my clubbing feet in Shanghai but everyone seems to be pointing me the way of The Shelter so far, although I can see there’s a lot more here for the discerning underground clubber to discover.
Checking out Youtube for vids of The Shelter (it’s in an old WWII bomb shelter) and I came across this vid of Japanese turntablist DJ Kentaro delivering some sick scratching and deck skills to the baying crowd. If this is anything to go by, I am looking forward to the weekend!!

when me and binga were over there we played at babyface – that was 2006 but it was a cool club – at one point the bar staff threw loads of booze on the bar and set light to it. looked class!
