If there’s any one sound I’m totally rating at the moment it’s the trashed-out ghetto-house sound of Giant Pussy Records, whose head honchos Tim Healey and Deekline we interviewed not so long ago (check it out). Their style thus far has ripped classic slices of funk and disco and given them a place among the raw beats and basslines of ghetto-house. The second release ‘Pocket Rocket’ by label honcho and house legend Tim Healey and Munich-based rising star TAI (also a platinum-selling pop and hip-hop producer under his real name Tai Jason) is no different, and its production is as tight as its credentials.
