‘Badman Sound’ is a funky little ravestep monster which is full of wobbly goodness and soaring buildups. The vocal samples are fantastic and really add to the whole tribal ravestep vibe that runs through this tune. The synths here are as always superb, ripping their way through the tune (3.34 for some of the coolest tweaking sounds).

‘Get Messy’ is a slowly building dubstep affair which launches into a rave extravaganza. I really love the ravey stabs that jump in and out of this tune and I’m pretty sure this song would appeal to both the obsessive dubstep fan and the rave fanatic!

As you all probably know, Hostage shall be playing tomorrow with the one and only Boys Noize at City Nightclub in Edinburgh on the 27th (tomorrow) Get your tickets on Ticketweb. We also have more boys noize/hostage related news. Out in October is a fantastic Hostage track featuring Spoek (Boys Noize Records) which is available to stream for now! I love the afrobeat rhythm that runs with the bouncy bassline and haunting piano.

For those who just cant get enough Hostage in your lives, I would recommend you follow him on Twitter! He is constantly updating it with news and samples of forthcoming material and has to be one my most visited Twitter profiles due to the veritable goldmine of material to be found! We got hold of a monster electro meets disco floor filler ‘Hangin’. This track is pure disco mayhem and has loads of energy, I am really loving this one!
