I’d barely finished setting up my Twitter account today when I got a tweet from one of my favourite up-and-coming producers, Docipede. Not even a month has passed since last I blogged about him and his ravetacular Hostage remix, and he’s already hooked us up with another incredibly impressive rave/tech remix. This time, he sets his sights on Vitalic’s new release, Your Disco Song.
I was a fan of the original but this mix has blown it out of the water. The floaty vocals have been stripped out, and everything’s a lot crisper, with more emphasis on epic buildups and gritty synths. For some reason, I can’t help but get bit a Kernkraft 400-esque vibe from it. Could not come more highly recommended for a bit of late night summer partying. I can imagine nothing but big things to come from Docipede in the future.
