Hands down one of my favourite bands ever, Primal Scream have been providing me with a constant reminder of my musical foundations for years. Beastie Boys, on the other hand, while I respect as a band – have surely created some of the most over-used acapellas in the music production / shoddy bootleg business.
But sod it, these are two great tunes and everyone needs a cheeky mashup in their lives sometimes. This certainly isn’t a moment of musical genius but it’s definitely a pleasant way to end the first day of July.
