When I first heard these tracks, I assumed Docipede was some sort of big-name producer that had completely flown under my radar. Needless to say, I was amazed to discover that the mastermind behind them is an 18 year old producer/remixer from Plymouth. He’s already had a fair bit of success, and got his remix of Hostage’s track “Lighter” featured on Kissy Sell Outs Radio 1 show, which you can find waiting for you below.
I’ve been biding my time on making this post while Doci put the finishing touches on his latest creation, a reworking of PKFire by N0thing (who’s previously graced the Noise Porn pages under the alias N0mad). I definitely think the payoff was worth the wait. Expect gritty, industrial undertones and plenty of piercing synths intertwined with the sick electro beat.
As always, you can find out more about Docipede or N0thing at their respective MySpaces, and don’t be shy to let us know what you think in the comments.
