Now we know this isn’t standard Noise Porn fare but we spotted Marina & The Diamonds a while ago and reckon it’s a good antidote to all that heavy bass we’re constantly plugging on here. Anyway she’s playing at The Voodoo Rooms tonight as part of Limbo, we thoroughly recommend you head down there, and for all you Edinburgh students just gearing up for the long haul through finals, this is the perfect way to stretch your legs without committing to an all-out night of debauchery.
Limbo has been described as the “barometer of pop in Scotland,” a weekly live music night from the Black Spring DJs, somewhere between a straight-up gig and a club night where people go to dance. We recommend!
