JoeAndWillAsk are an eclectic duo, with Joe’s history of releasing drum and bass 12’s, and Will’s background in hard house and trance. The two started working together back in 2007 and have been refining their style ever since, recently getting signed to the Kitsuné label.
And what a style it is. With influences from numerous different genres permeating their release history, the one thing each track can be guaranteed to have in common with the rest is the sheer energy and euphoria evoked when listened to. This latest unleashing is no exception, with their interpretation of Lowline’s Gun In My Side.
I can’t quite put my finger on the magic ingredient in this remix, probably because the whole thing is of such high quality, from the rolling drums to the spacey vocals, futuristic synths, bouncy bass and epic buildups.
