Just discovered another fine Hidden Cat production, this time from a remix competition held by our fellow bloggers over at Ohh! Crapp… The challenge was to rework The Rip by Portishead. It’s the first track that Hidden Cat has ever recorded live instruments for, and the results are better than I could have imagined. Considering that all he had for inspiration was the original song, this reworking, its epic feel and killer buildups are all the more impressive.
