d*-Funk just popped up on the radar, and this guy has one of those unbelievably impressive underground CV’s.
Running his own night ‘Break da House’ which over the past 4 years has established itself as one of the biggest breaks & electro nights in the UK, helps Doug regularly work alongside the cream of the breaks A list. He’s been the resident since day one steering the night from both behind and on the decks. It’s this solid platform that has helped him work alongside the likes of Stanton Warriors, Evil Nine, Plump DJ’s, Dub Pistols, Lee Coombs & Meat Katie, to name but a few.
Signed to uber-cool breakbeat label, Westway Records Doug had his debut release ‘Electrotek’ / ‘Transition’ in early 2007, which went on to be number 2 in the Kiss FM breaks chart, and was rated 4/5 by DJ Mag. So he’s good!
