Autophase

As one of the underground’s fastest rising DJ/Production duos, Autophase have earned the support of many including I-DJ Magazine, John Digweed and Paul Van Dyk, both of whom have spun Autophase’s recent tracks on their respective radio broadcasts.

Ready to build on this recent found success, Tom and Kip are taking it back to their countryside roots to pay tribute to the holiest of animals: The Cow. The “Moosic” EP, set to drop on December 16 features 3 bovine Autophase surprises.

The title track “Moosic” came about rather swiftly, but didn’t gel together until a little tweaking made some random cows sound techno perfect, if a little crazy

With a healthy dose of drum sampling and cowbell ridden leads, the EPs second track “Cowbells are Udderrated” brings countryside percussion to the nightclubs:

“We’ve received an entertaining club response,” explain Tom and Kip, “with people putting their hands either side of their heads and pointing up like cow horns, then running at each other in the break down…. Nice!”

To close out this dairy free affair, Autophase delivers an uplifting, peaktime progressive tune branded “Daft Cow”; adding an extra musical dimension to this eccentric 3-track collection.

Aside from that EP, enjoy this Autophase track called Tin Foil (Global Underground) and also Bubblewrap (Curfew).
