iBreaks in ya FACE!

              face

Today we venture into the world of Digital Base. With a album set to come out on iBreaks called “Digital Era”, this is the last release on iBreaks for the year and its HEAVY. Big things in the works next year for iBreaks, for that matter, big things set for iBreaks the end of this year!

Digital Base - Behold: This tune is a crazy one. It twists, it turns, it crosses over all the boundaries that most try to hold so clear. Rockin guitars, a steady breakbeat, and swells galore start this badbwoy off and when the breakdown hits its time to spark up the synth and build into a slamming affair! This is one of those tunes you really can’t go wrong with and the dancefloor will go nuts for sure. Now to the boundary crossing. The second break brings the same build as the first, until the drop that is. Now its time for this tune to amp into a bitcrushed, 4/4 slammer for a bit and while that disappears shortly after the elements of electro run rich thru this tune. This is a fairly aggressive tune and will surely draw appeal from your usual superstar Dj’s.

Digital Base - Turn me out (Dekoy RmX): Some of you may be familiar with this tune as the original was released some time ago. Now its time for Big mover Dekoy to turn out the Remix duties! This is a BIG tune with beautiful pads and such a epic feel that its sure to be a big hit as we close out the year and even into the next. Pretty strings and heavy bass fuel this tune and the edits are absolutely refreshing to say the least. This tune is perfect for a peak hour set and should NOT be overlooked. A healthy mix of the bitter, and the sweet!

This release will be in shops December 8th and will close out the year for iBreaks. Make sure to keep them on the TOP of your list to look out for in 09 however as big things are in the works for these cats!

New Funkatech, KaBLAM!

Posted under Reviews by J.Woot on Sunday 30 November 2008 at 7:11 pm

drunk santa

Funkatech has one more for ya before the holidays hit full storm and the much anticipated, Globaly loved New Years comes once again.  These two tunes are wicked heavy!  You HAVE to check these out!

Pyramid Feat IC3 - Wickedest Combination: Absolute TUNE! This tune is a beat driven, funk MONSTER. Groovy funk bass and jump up styled vocals get this bad mofo rollin and never looks back! When this one drops its sheer devastation as grimey bass and right on time edits move this tune in a BIG BIG way. This is another nomination for Bad Bwoy Breaks Mover of the Year! CHOONAGE!

Pyramid Feat Far Too Loud - The System: OMG this release just DON’T STOP! Now its time for those crazy ass FTL boys to add their spice to this already SLAMMIN release. As usual you can expect BIG bass from this epic teaming up of FTL and Pyramid. Squelchy synths, a absolutely appropriate count down, and face melting bass are just a few of the surprises that this one has in store for you! Yet another 100% essential release from Pyramid.

Of all the releases that have crept up on us to finish out this year, THIS IS A BIIIG one! Funkatech drops this one on ya December 8th and this one should by all means be rockin your office party! Hands down BIG MOVERS!

Sack off Thursdays with Popof!

Posted under MP3, News by Noise Porn on Tuesday 25 November 2008 at 1:45 pm

Just a quick heads up to say if you’re within striking distance of Edinburgh tomorrow night and have little or no desire to operate as a human being on Thursday morning, Noise Porn STRONGLY recommends you head down to Cabaret Voltaire to see Popof at We Are Electric (Facebook event).

He closed off the night at Ocean Terminal after Dubfire last month, if you were there for that then you’ll definitely want to see him again and if you weren’t then you missed out - so make it up tomorrow!

His reworking of Tiga and Moby tunes have helped win him admirers right across the world, with his own tracks Alcoholic and the marvellous Serenity being nothing less than drop-dead killers. Prepare for a night of deliciously twisted dancefloor electronica, and what’s more it’s free before 11.30pm and only £3 after that!
